If Someone Comes Across Some Cash...

If someone comes across a great deal of cash or wins the lottery in the next few months-

If at all possible, I would like two of these, please. In return, I'll dedicate a book to you. Or even better yet, I won't write you into the book.

Not only are these wicked expensive, the necessary hand transplants (with teeny tiny fingers) are not - I repeat, NOT, included at point of purchase. I see a black market opporunity here.

Baroness,

If they were around $550, I'd buy one.

Yes, that keyboard wouldn't suit most. I can type fine with a dinky keyboard, I do that already with my cell phone and a full QWERTY keyboard, along with the Windows OS would work wonders so that I wouldn't have to re-type anything.

Bubs,

It is supposed to be a fully operational Windows computer and not one that uses the scaled-down version of Windows that runs on handheld devices.

So yeah, people will find new ways to get fired from their jobs, though older users will have to squint really, really hard to get, er, results.

Bridget,

One would be strictly for writing, though I should just have one OQO and have a Blackberry Curve 8320 for everything else.

No 3G support!

No video!!

@megapixel camera?!

The only thing it has going is WiFi and QWERTY?

I'll keep the HTC. Thanks.

Mhh ... I can't do that href link bit so I can't send you to the Curve 8330. Stuff of dreams

Quin,

You are safe, the OQO doesn't have a camera.

Bridget,

My cell phone company doesn't have 3G in the States and even though they have a few HTC phones, it wouldn't work.

I tried to do a mock-up on how to hyperlink, but it won't except the HTML all broken up like that.

This page has a fairly simple explanation Page Source.

As a typist, I object to these mini Querty keyboards. I agree whole heartedly with the Baroness: the fingers are not supplied to go along with the keyboard.

An there is no bell at the end of the carriage either.

Shame.

Bridget,

You are welcome.

Gifted,

At least I can hunt and peck with relative efficency, as opposed to wearing out my thumbs with the cell phone.

Quin,

My iPod is fried, though that can be attributed to the clock radio which didn't "undock" properly. I've crushed a headset on my last trip to the NYC. I've ruined the connecting bay for the wireless card on my laptop.

I cracked my cell phone (actually, an overzealous door at work did) and holy shit, we are related!
