Know Your Rabid Animals

Citizens of San Francisco, City public health officials warned Wednesday that a rabid bat was found in the Marina, and they are searching for anybody who may have come in contact with it.

As an added precaution, we also ask that you familiarize yourself with the animals in San Francisco that might carry rabies, so that you can avoid encounters with them in the future.

Here is a bat-

Here is a rabid procrastinator-

This is Batman-

This is Lego Batman-

Batman and Lego Batman have shown no sign of rabies as of yet. Still, we ask that you use caution and avoid everything and everyone depicted in this post.

I can't wait for that either. Or the Indiana Jones lego game.

Ah, to be in a perpetual state of adolescence.

Johnny Dollars,

I tried a demo of Lego Star Wars and I totally sucked at it, though I will give Lego Batman a try.

Middle Named John,

"Ah, to be in a perpetual state of adolescence."

Absolutely.

It is everyone's contention that I've never left teendom behind, though my gray hair and beard suggest otherwise.

One girl I hung out with said she needed one of those child leashes whenever we got near a toy store.

I just heard about the Indy version. Lego Nazi!

That sounds so VERY wrong, but the wrath of Lego God sounds cool!

I feel kind of bad for bats. They're cute but everyone's so afraid. I know how they feel.

Johnny Dollars,

When I used to buy Procrastinator Junior Hotwheels, we had to wait for the adults to finish jostling and elbowing each over the best ones.

Yeah, that Indy set is pretty involved and Cartoon Network has even run ads for it even during Adult Swim. Junior has said on more than one occasion that few kids would know who Indiana Jones (he barely does) and I explained to him that Lego isn't marketing this for kids, though they would dig it if kids bought the set too.

I also explained to him that the majority of those sets will never be opened.

Coaster,

You might be able to empathize with bats, but you don't suck blood nor do you fly around people in erratic patterns, narrowly missing them at the last second.

I have bats in my belfry. I don't think any of them have rabies, but some of them are mad.

Maybe personal appearances are deceiving. But to be absolutely certain, in answer to your question? He ate garlic.
