Not Quite S.A.B. II
I would call it a "Group Twinkie." It is enjoyable when viewed with a big audience, some of the jokes are enhanced with a real life laugh-track and I had forgotten half of the movie by the time we got to the parking lot. The outtakes of the Tom Cruise-YouTube spoof were funnier than the ones left in the flick. Becky, you'll appreciate those more than anyone. Rent it just for the outtakes, if nothing else.
At any rate, the co-star of the flick created another "Not Quite Separated At Birth." So here we go and please try to follow my convoluted logic...
Here is Kate Bosworth, right?
Here is Reese Witherspoon, okay?
Easy enough. Now comes the stumper...
Here is Sara Paxton from "Superhero Movie." Now, is she "Sara Bosworth?" Or is she "Sara Witherspoon?" We need some answers here, people! Get M.I.T. up and running on it!
Labels: Is Sara Paxton a lost Bosworth (comma) or a lost Witherspoon?, Not Quite Separated At Birth

She's Sara Can't Act.
Saw the flick yesterday. Giggled a lot, but poor Sara can't act.
ta for the heads up on the movie... i'll wait for the dvd.
as for the separated at birth- i think there's more bosworth than witherspoon in there...
ooh, and happily birfdaze kid!!!
Gifted,
She didn't impress me with her acting skills, but I can't judge her on this type of film. Everyone plays it over the top and badly on purpose, in the spirit of the spoof.
Angel,
Thanks for the birthday wishes.
Is that the one with either Drake or Josh in it?
Kate Bosworth reminds me of someone but I can never think of who. It's not Reese though.
Becky,
Drake, because my first instinct was "where's my damn remote, so I can change the channel?"
All I know about Kate is that she's the next Gretchen Mol. She got all these magazine covers and hype...then nothing really happened.
Still, the both of them had some of the most fantastic publicists in the history of the movie industry.
It's finally happened, just like Al Pacino (great soothsayer that he is) predicted - Simone!
I've never heard of her but she looks like a Witherspoon/Bosworth love child.
that's really, really scaring me.
there's never going to be another gretchen mol. not kate bosworth, nobody. she's sui generis as far as busted publicity.
Baroness,
An excellent reference and observation!
Chelene,
I never heard of her either and every time the film lagged or got to silly, I kept focusing how she resembles either actress when filmed from certain angles.
Book,
Gretchen was unique, they cut Kate off at two covers I think and no one wants to make that mistake again without a corresponding financial payoff.
What about Sara Bosspoon?
But Leslie Neilson was brilliant in this movie and the the Auntie (Ritchie Cunninghams mum) was great too. And the villian. All good even in the over-the-top genre.
But, yes you are right, I shouldn't take it so hard.
Beth,
Is that a prank call name? Because the IMDB and Google say that you're giving me an April Fool two days day late ; )
Gifted,
Leslie to me was a little flat, but he's be doing this since Police Squad back in '82 and he can certainly mail it in if he feels like it. Marion Ross is boss. Note her turn as Drew Carey's mom and on SpongeBob Squarepants.
Jeez.... part of me recalls the blog post commemmorating WPJr's birthday last year. How time flies.
ITSW,
It's going a little too fast, as of late.
premiere magazine had a great cover of reese once...
you had to look at it, but, she was dressed as 'litte miss muffet'... and she was there... reese,
with her spoon.
very clever.
Quin,
I bailed out on Premiere back in '97 and that's too bad, I really would have dug that cover.
Reese doesn't fear spiders and the rest of the country caught on to her, later than out here. She owned San Francisco after Freeway played a local art house theater and was held over by popularity, for a couple of weeks. If you've seen that modernization of Lewis Carroll's most famous work, you would pity the spider.
Is it politically incorrect to say that all blonde lollipop actresses look the same to me?
Tanya,
I can tell these three apart because of the movies that they've been in. But I can't tell any of the ones on "The Hills" or "Laguna Beach" apart. Every type on TV looks alike to me.
